From November 30 to December 12 November, the 28th Session of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 28) was held in the United Arab Emirates.
More than 60,000 global delegates attended the 28th Session of the United Nations Climate Change Conference to jointly formulate a global response to climate change, limit global warming within 1.5 degrees Celsius at pre-industrial levels, increase climate financing for developing countries, and urgently expand investment in climate adaptation.
The meeting also stressed that rising climate temperatures have caused water shortages in many countries, including serious heat waves, floods, storms and irreversible climate change. At present, all regions in the world are faced with many water resources difficulties, such as water resources shortage, water pollution, frequent water disasters, low efficiency of water resources utilization, uneven distribution of water resources and so on.
How to better protect the water resources, the use of water resources has also become a topic of worldwide discussion. In addition to the protective development of front-end water resources, the treatment and utilization of water resources at the back end are also constantly mentioned.
